Andrew at the Masters Indoors

Andrew Kennard travelled to Cardiff last weekend for his first competition as a 40 year old, entering three events in the British Masters Indoor Championship.

He was fairly pleased with the results of his first masters outing, given his lack of competition over the last couple of years and he’s hoping to build on them and have a succcessful summer on the track.

Andrew ran 55.94 in the heat of the 400m, finishing 5th fastest overall and just missing a place in the final. He then went overdistance with a run in the 800m, recording 2.13.49 for 8th place in the final and rounded off the weekend by showing his versatility with a long jump of 5.16 for 5th place.
