Saturday saw the senior men’s team open their league season with the first Southern Men’s League fixture at Barnet Copthall. An excellent team perfomance produced a 2nd place, our best opening match result for a few years. A full report with results (and photos) is at Senior Men at Barnet

Last Thursday was the date of the Club’s Annual General Meeting. The attendance was disappointing but those who did attend contributed to a lively and iinteresting meeting. Minutes of the AGM will be posted here shortly.

On Sunday we had a working party at the club. A lot of useful work was done in preparation for the season and in particular for next Sunday. Thanks to Danny, David, Dave, Terry, Wendy, Bill, Jon, Hannah, Sue, Carla, Ben, Craig, Jack and Debbie (with apologies to anyone missed).

Next Sunday is, of course, the date of the club’s Open Meeting. There is a full programme of events with the exception of throws, and all athletes should try to compete. Further details and an entry form and timetable are available Walton Open Details
