Lily B League match 1 at Guildford 26th April

Well done for the first match of the season you all did a great job (as did our newly trained parent officials). We came third overall behind Croydon and Herne Hill which is fantastic considering we only had one scoring U17 girl. In the U13 match we came second behind Herne Hill and in the U15 match we also came second to Croydon with a team of 10 girls 8 of whom are in their first year of U15 so a fantastic result by the girls.

Star of the match Hetty Taylor in her shot putt who got national standard at 10.83m in her first outdoor match of the season – well done.

Darcie Weston Jones and Tait Jones won all of their events and Tait set a new club record in Pole Vault – well done girls, Nicola Bell got 2 firsts and a second and Jasmine de la Touche 2 first places and a third in her first year as an U13 great job Jasmine.
