Congratulations to the six Walton athletes who competed in the English Schools championships and especially Sawa Yamakawa and Sophie Mace who came away with silver medals.

Sawa Yamakawa set a new pb and club record  of 11.35 in winning his heat of the 80m hurdles and improved it again to 11.24 in coming 2nd in the final.

Sophie Mace threw 42.81 to claim her silver medal in the discus.

Nicola Bell improved her club record in teh under 15 javelin to 36.32 for 6th place.

Sam Mace threw 38.40 for 6th place in the discus.

Hetty Taylor threw 10.72 for 10th in the shot and Tait Jones threw 23.62 for 15th in the discus.
