Athletes of the Match:
U15 B – Sam Bishop for his 1 second PB in 200m
U15 G – Charlotte Vaughan for her 800m club record on a front run and offering herself up to do javelin – 3 valid throws and no one killed in the process
U13 B – Anthony Robins Kent for his 3 PBs in Long Jump, 100m and Javelin
U13 G – Jasmine de la Touche for her massive PB in Shot taking her to second in UK rankings.
Unsung heros
U15 B – Josh Taylor for doing A string 800m (PB), A string 300m and 4 x 300m
U15 G – Rachel Pharaoh for not only destroying her 1500m PB but volunteering herself for Shot and going straight after her 1,500m to get points.
U13 B – Daniel for agreeing to do High Jump and not just clearing the opening height but going for more points.
U13 G – Zoe Grimes for agreeing to do Javelin and Alex Beauchamp for agreeing last minute on Saturday to come to Horsham after her football tournament to do shot and relay. Luckily she arrived in time to do a NS 75m in 10.7 getting herself a grade 3 in the AAA standards.
Our U15 Girls team were first by 62 points! U15 Boys first by 42 points! (Game on for final match U15’s), our U13 Boys 2nd by a mere 8 points and our brave U13 girls who were most hit by absences a well deserved 3rd.
