Annual General Meeting – Thursday 23 February – 8:30pm

Dear Walton AC member/parent,

The Annual General Meeting of Walton Athletic Club will take place in the clubhouse on Thursday 23 February starting at 8.30 pm. Attendees are invited to stay for cheese and wine afterwards.

Volunteers are required for the Committee roles. The club has relied on the work of a few individuals over the last few years and volunteers are needed to spread the work and ensure the club operates effectively. Each role requires a commitment of about one hour per month plus attendance, where possible, at Committee meetings. A list of roles is attached.

A list of nominations will be displayed in the clubhouse. If you would like more details please speak to Jack.

An update will be provided on Waterside Drive at the AGM. We have recently been notified that the club will have to vacate Stompond Lane by 31 March 2017. Plans are well advanced with regards to alternative facilities until the new facilities at Waterside Drive are available and will be communicated via coaches to their groups. If you have any questions please reply to this email and they can be addressed at the AGM.

The Committee proposes the revised constitution for approval at the AGM. Should you have any queries in advance, please email prior to the meeting.

All athletes, coaches, officials and parents/guardians of junior members are invited to attend the AGM. Please note that only senior and life members of the club may vote.
