Under 15 girls take team bronze at Southern champs at Parliament Hill

First race of the day over 4:5km was under 15 boys, Ben Marks continued his
fine form with an outstanding run to finish in 7th place. Ben Fitzpatrick
was next home in 24, Ollie Coppolletti 47, Joshua Taylor 112, Tom Jones
132 and Michael Cotterill 163. out of 291 finishers. The boys narrowly
missed out on a team Medal finishing 4th out of 36 team.

Next up was under the 13 boys race over 3km, in tough conditions the four
boys committed themselves and ran solidly. First home was Ross Hurst in 41
place, followed by Jack Gemmell in 50 then first year in the age group
Jacob Gelona 275 and Freddie Allen 282 out of 312 finishers.

The best was left till last where the under 15 girls packed well to secure
team bronze over 4km course. Charlotte Vaughan led the team home in her
best run of the season in 7th place, followed By Rachel Pharaoh in 29,
Emma Horsey 52, Megan Coffey 80, Imogen Burton 105, Clara Sawicki 207 and
Lani cardwell 210 out of 270 finishers.

Congratulations to all the Walton athletes who competed today in extremely
tough conditions on a equally tough course.
