Ollie continues fine form over the country

Five Walton athletes represented Surrey at the South of England Inter Counties Cross Country Championships in Oxford last Saturday.

Ollie Emment was first up to race and continued his fine early season form over the 3km course to come home in 9th place. Ollie was also part of the Surrey team that took the Silver medal in the team competition.

Next up was Imogen Burton who was representing Surrey for the first time, a credit to how far she has come in the sport. Running over 4km Imogen race well and came home in 81st place.

Finally to run was the under 17 trio of Charlotte Vaughan, Rachel Pharaoh and Darby Begley-Jones over 5km. All three girls ran extremely well over a tough course in very cold conditions.
