Match Report UAG YDL 29th April Sutcliffe Park

The weather was dark, damp and dreary but the Walton team were all far from that.

The day started and ended with top performances both on the track and in the field.

Our best performances on the track for the day were Tyler Panton and Cedelle Age-Kyem.

Meanwhile in the field Eva West, Jasmine de la Touche and Sam Mace threw their socks off!

Special mention to our new upper age group athletes especially Sean Deane and Tyler Panton who showed tremendous team spirit and commitment to ensure that the 4 x 400 Walton team competed and won with a stunning performance.

Also all those U17’s who kindly competed as U20 to help Walton finish third out of seven teams.

A very special thank you to Jack Rutherford our Club Chairman who came out to brave the cold and cover timekeeping.

As well as our Lead Official Debbie Singleton and her team ; Juliet Hobbs, Tracy West, Chris West, Karen Hubbard, Marie Marks, Clare Mammen,Elaine Pharaoh and Stuart Mace.

Thank you too to all the parents who made the trek across London and braved the cold.
