YDL UAG – Match 3 report

Walton UAG YDL Home Match 1st July

Wow, wonderful Walton. The sun beamed down on a great performance from a super Walton team, finishing second out of seven teams.

The weather was wonderfully warm as was the atmosphere. I was so impressed with the lovely nature of the team when a fellow team mate was without their spikes and offers were made from so many.

The whole day was filled with so many fantastic performances and you should all feel very proud.

We had PBs for: Cedelle Agei-Kyem = PB in 100m with 12.8, Josh Taylor 200m PB 25.5, Oliver Coppellotti 1500m PB 4.17.9, Tom Jones 1500m PB 4.30.2, Phoebe Schofield Long Jump PB 4.65m, Maddie Pompei Hammer PB 20.73m and Eva West Hammer PB 31.26m and Javelin PB 12.80m

We also had first places for: Cedelle Agei-Kyem in 200m A, Emma Horsey 300m A , Reuben Leyland A 400m, Ethan Dray 400m B, Edward Dawson 800m B, Ben Marks 800m A, Ben Fitzpatrick 800m B, Charlotte Vaughan 800m A, Rachel Pharaoh 800m B, Tom Jones 1500m B, Lani Cardwell 1500m A, Sam Rowe 100m Hurd A, Emma Horsey 300m Hurd A, Walton U17M 4 X 400m, Walton 4 X 400m U20 W, Evan Lee High Jump A, Jasmine de la Touche Long Jump B and Shot Putt A, Maddie Pompei Javelin B and Hammer B, Eva West 300m B and Hammer A and Sam Mace Hammer, Shot and Discus.

Our Woman of the Match goes to Eva West for a super Hammer PB

Our Man of the Match goes to Sam Mace for his solid winning performances over three events.

All results will be on the Power of 10.
