Match 3 of the Lily B league was held at Kingsmeadow, Kingston on Sunday 15th July. The sun shone on us again and the Walton girls had some fantastic performances with some personal bests. Even with a small team we managed to finish 4th. We had competitors in all age groups.

In the under 11 age group we had two amazing competitors each competing in three events. Alana Oosterkammp won the Long Jump by quite some distance, and then Poppy Scott and Alana came third in the 600m and 150m respectively.

We had one newcomer in Sophie Jongejan who had some fantastic performances in the U13 100m and 200m.

In the under 13 age group we had a few A and B string wins for Emma Fisher (100m and 200m), Sian Popham (200m) and Jimena Stynes in the B string 800m.

A few PBs for the U15s with Sally Mammen in 200m, Eloise Williams in 800m and Olivia Mensah in both the 100m and the Long Jump. Emma Queen came first in 100m B String and Caitlin Paul in the Discus B string.

In the under 17 age group Zahra Hadfield had a PB in the 800m and Eva West won the 300m and Jasmine de la Touche in the Javelin.

A huge thank you to all the club officials and parents who came out to help and support. We co-hosted the match and provided a large number of officials. I would like to thank you all but the list is long!
