A small group of under 15 girls and one under 13 made the short journey to Sutton.  Despite not filling all the events the girls still managed to come a close second to Sutton in their age group with the team finishing 4th overall.

Abi Wroth equalled her pb in the 100m.  Kate Lee produced pbs in the shot, long jump and hurdles.  Alicia Thonet made her debut in the discus winning the B string with a pb and produced another pb in the 800m.

Laura Moore also produced pbs in the hurdles and javelin and equalled her pb in the high jump.  Rio Herring ran a pb in the 200m and Carla Letheby threw a new pb in the discus.

Katie Churchman despite competing in the hurdles with an injured foot ran a time close to her pb.

All the girls had a good afternoon ,it was disappointing so few under 13’s and no under 17’s made the effort to turn out.
