The Lily B fixture next Saturday is for girls of all age groups from U13 to U17. The first match is at the Spectrum Guildford. There is a full programme for these age groups.
U11s can compete as well in 75m, 150m, long jump and relay.
There is no limit on the number of athletes taking part.
Any girl wanting to compete for the club should make themselves available next Saturday
The YAL fixture is at Walton and there will be no training on the day as all athletes should be competing.
Selection will be based on the results of the first YAL match and the Lily B match the preceeding saturday. This League is for boys and girls age groups U13 to U17 with only two athletes per event.
There will be non scoring events for 100m and 800m plus throws. So all athletes are encouraged to participate in these events.

You must be a paid up member to compete. Anybody who has not renewed will need to apply as a new member.
We have been disappointed with the numbers of junior members who have competed so far this season. We would remind all members that they are expected to compete regularly throughout the year, we are an athletics club, not a keep fit club. Next month we will be reviewing participation in competitions by our junior athletes during the first part of this season and changes may be made to the coaching structure so that coaches can focus on athletes who do compete for the clubs teams.
