Club Champions 2012

Club Championship results for 2012 have now been calculated and the winners and medallists are shown below.

This years Walton AC Awards evening will be held on Saturday 24th of November.

For those people that haven’t been before, it’s essentially a fun end of season celebration with night of food, drink, a quiz and  prize giving. You certainly don’t have to be winning an award to come.

As with last year we will be presenting trophies to all age groups from U11 upwards.

Age group winners and medalists will be decided on the basis of their performances across the season in track and field matches with the number of times they have represented the club being taken into consideration.

The leading three athletes in each age group will be presented with gold, silver and bronze medals and the winner will be awarded the age group championship trophy for a year.

The Awards evening will be held at St Andrews Church Hall (just opposite the club in Hersham Road, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, KT12 1LG).

Starting at 7:30pm the evening will consist of:

Presentations

3 Course Meal (Bring your own drinks)

LILY B FINAL KINGSMEADOW 25TH AUGUST

The Lily B Final is for girls of all ages. All the junior group and
competition group are expected to compete at this match. All athletes should
select 3 events they want to do.
The under 11s, school years 4 and 5, can
run 75m, 150m and 600. They can also do long jump, but I would try to avoid
this as it’s usually very busy and clashes with the 75m.

There is a full card for all other age groups. As this is the final we
would like to fill as may events as possible and not duplicate events with non
scoring athletes.

There will be no training on sunday for girls who do not compete on the
saturday.

Please let Terry know if you are coming and what you want to do. Emails to waltoncoaches@hotmail.co.uk
. The match starts at 11.15 and you should arrive by 11 o’clock at the
latest.
Any parents able to lend a hand for part of the day please let us
know.
If you turn up without letting us know you may be dissappointed
