Record Breaking September & October
Discus Cage
The Discus cage has been mended, it does need new netting and this will be sorted ASAP. We had had a very long wait for the cage to be fixed (nearly two years) and do not want any further damage through misuse.
ALL users are reminded that this is a Lightweight Discus ONLY cage and not to be used for any other throws and to please refrain from throwing any implements, ie medicine balls, etc into this netting to help prevent any further damage. The Hammer/Discus cage is more heavy duty.Surrey cross country Match 1
Awards Night
Dear WAC member,
It is with great pleasure that we are once again able to host a Walton Athletic Club annual members’ awards night. It will be held at the Hub on 26 November 2021 starting at 7:30pm. It should be an extra special evening given that we were unable to celebrate our achievements last year due to Covid.
We hope that every single one of you will be able to attend this year so please save the date and email Marie at meetingsecretary@waltonac.co.uk to confirm your attendance so that we can get a feel for numbers.
It would be lovely to have some volunteers to help organise the event so if you have a couple of evenings free, please do make yourselves known (again, by emailing meetingsecretary@waltonac.co.uk)
