Dear all,Well doesn’t time fly! It’s time again for the biggest night in the club’s calendar; the annual Awards Night. It will be an opportunity for all of you to celebrate your own and others’ achievements as well as to get to know some new faces.Over 100 of you attended last year and it would be great to see even more of you this year.Well, they say they come in threes, so here they are:
Firstly, double-double Olympian Sir Mo Farah will give a personal video address to WAC members at our awards night.
Secondly, Mo’s wife, Tania Farah, has agreed to present the awards.
Thirdly, the awards night now clashes with an England football match, so we have decided to re-jig the schedule to allow for watching the match at the Hub ahead of presenting the awards.
So, plan to arrive around 18:30 if you want to watch the football (the match starts at 19:00). Awards presentation will likely start around 2100.
