Surrey Women’s Cross Country League Reigate 12th January 2008

The third round of Surrey cross country league matches took place on Saturday with our girls and women at Reigate.
It was cold and dry but the ground was very slippy after the recent rain.
The senior race was held first and Nathalie Warren continued her fine run of form with 8th place despite losing time due to a fall. Jo Locker came 27th with Dee Meyer, another faller, in 47th and Liz Amos 56th. Claire Pearce completed the scoring team in 94th place. the tam finished 6th and remain 4th in the league
Five girls ran in the under 13 race. Rebecca Morris led the team home in 7th, Beth Hamlet was 15th, Sophie Denmead 25th, Alice Wills 27th and Beth Sutherland 41st. As a team they came 4th and remain 3rd in the league.

In the under 15 race Alex Panayides had another fine run in 13th place with Carla Letheby 21st. The team came 4th and are 3rd in the league.

Nathalie Jones just held off Nicola Aylett in the under 17 race, they finished 9th and 10th. In the team race they came 5th and are 5th in the league.
